Refund & Cancellation Policy

Astra AI Astrology ("we," "our," or "us") aims to provide a transparent, fair, and professional payment experience for all seekers on our platform. Since we offer a dual monetization system comprising monthly membership subscriptions and pay-as-you-go credit packages, our policies are tailored specifically to each purchase type as described below.

1. Pay-As-You-Go Top-Up Credits

Our pay-as-you-go packages allow you to manually top up your credits balance (base conversion rate of ₹1 = 10 credits) to query AI guides and run mathematical birth calculations. The following rules govern credit purchases:

  • All Sales Are Final: Credit purchases (Starter: ₹50, Popular: ₹200, Premium: ₹500, Elite: ₹1,000, Pro: ₹2,000, Ultimate: ₹4,000) are strictly non-refundable. Once credits are deposited into your account wallet, the service is considered fully delivered.
  • Zero Refund for Spent Credits: No refunds, full or partial, can be requested or issued if any portion of the credits in a package has been spent or consumed.
  • Gateway / Technical Failure: If a payment is successfully processed and debited from your card, UPI, or bank account but credits fail to load due to a system interruption, please contact us at support@astraai.com. We will verify the transaction with our payment gateway partner and manually credit your wallet or trigger a gateway refund within 5–7 business days.
  • Non-Expiration: Top-up credits do not expire. They remain in your account wallet indefinitely, provided your account remains active. Credits have no real-world monetary value, cannot be withdrawn, and are non-transferable between accounts.

2. Recurring Membership Subscriptions (Basic, Pro, Elite)

If you purchase a recurring subscription membership (Pro at ₹499/month or Elite at ₹999/month; Basic is free at ₹0/month), you are enrolled in automatic recurring billing. The following terms govern cancellations and refunds:

  • Automatic Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a recurring monthly cycle starting on the day of signup. Charges are processed automatically in advance using your saved payment method.
  • Self-Service Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. To cancel, go to Settings > Subscription > Cancel Plan. No manual verification is required.
  • No Partial / Prorated Refunds: Upon cancellation, your subscription remains active with full benefits until the end of your current active billing cycle. We do not offer partial, prorated, or retrospective refunds for unused days or unused AI chats within an active billing period.
  • Cancellation Timing: To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle, you must cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before your next scheduled renewal date.
  • Duplicate Charges & Billing Errors: If you believe you were charged twice or billed in error due to a technical glitch, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. Verified erroneous charges will be refunded in full.

3. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method used during checkout.
  • Refund transactions are usually completed within 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or our payment gateway partner.
